Resident's welcome guide

Welcome from the city’s mayor

As the Mayor of Palma, I am more than glad to extend you a warm welcome to our beautiful city. I also want you to be successful in your brand-new life project here. Palma represents a city full of opportunities, a modern and cosmopolitan metropolis with an exceptional standard of living and a lot to offer.

Here in Palma, we value spending time together and we all contribute to building a vibrant city every day. For that reason, I encourage you to engage our community, to enjoy our culture and the sports facilities, using our services, and also to get involved with your neighborhood association and with all the activities they promote.

Palma’s City Hall, also known as “Cort”, is directly in charge of those matters that affect your everyday life: public transportation, security, street maintenance, kinder gardens, and a wide variety of essential services. Here in Cort we are all doing our best so Palma is provided with high-quality public services, so our neighbors must also know and make a decent use of them.

This is why we are offering you this guide, plenty of useful information about the different resources available for everybody.

Welcome to Palma. I hope you feel here like at home and that you will make the most of all what our city offers to you!
